Within their own area delivery of flowers is a
service that Special Occasions florist of Wynberg, Cape
Town gladly renders - seven days a week. From Monday to Friday
we guarantee same day deliveries of orders for flowers, fruit and
balloons
received by 12 noon and on Saturdays by 11am. Orders for deliveries
of flowers and balloons on Sundays and public
holidays will only be accepted for areas within our own delivery area and only
if received 48 hours in advance.
As an Interflora florist we deliver
and arrange for delivery of flowers in South Africa and world wide.
Orders are accepted online from our South African catalogue (click
on the "Home" button to access this page), from where the
catalogues for the United Kingdom, the USA, Europe, the rest of
Africa and Australia and New Zealand can also be accessed.
Although our delivery man always has a map at hand
to do deliveries promptly we are forced to rely on the correctness of the
delivery details supplied by the sender. No or an incorrect house- or contact telephone number can result in the non-delivery of
an item. Flowers are being delivered to many areas
therefore a record of all the deliveries are kept on a daily basis.
When a
delivery is done, the recipient must sign for the delivered
item. When a recipient is not at home the delivery man leaves an
Interflora
message card stating that he has tried to deliver flowers, that
nobody was at home and requesting the recipient to
contact the florist to arrange
to have the flowers delivered at a time convenient to them. Our
delivery vehicle displays our name,
contact number and that we do
deliveries.
It is not always an easy task to deliver
flowers. Sometimes people want their flowers to be delivered at a
specific time. To have
the ordered items delivered at the exact time
requested can become a problem and is not always possible as the
address is
sometimes incorrect or the recipient may not be home. We
can therefore only guarantee on time delivery of ordered items if a
contact phone number is supplied. We also deliver helium balloons.
Balloons are tricky to deliver when filled with helium. Helium
filled balloons expand by as much as 20% when exposed to heat and
should therefore not be exposed to direct sunlight during
delivery.
Our delivery man always ensures that the delivered product is still
in tact and of good quality when reaching its
destination. We
